时运不济的专业围棋选手宋泰锡（郑雨盛 饰）受沉湎于赌博的哥哥所托，帮助其在围棋赌局上出老千，结果被对方看破，哥哥遭受毒打后惨死，泰锡也被投入监牢。在狱中他利用棋艺从牢头处获得许多利益，更分别跟随神秘高手和黑帮老大锻炼出高超棋艺和强壮体魄。重获自由后，泰锡乔装打扮化名大石，并网罗了身处底层的宫秀、主（安圣基 饰）、许木匠等人组成各逞所能的团伙，发誓要向残害了他们兄弟的吴社长（李凡秀 饰）及其围棋诈骗团伙展开复仇。而狡诈凶残的吴社长绝不会轻易束手就擒，先失一着的他迅速展开反扑。
