《天堂计划》的故事架构在一个资源匮乏的近未来世界，人类赖以生存的资源开始变得枯竭，同时环境越来越差，人类细胞自我修复能力降低，2/3的人患有血液疾病面临因器官衰竭带来的死亡，克隆人器官贩卖市场滋生，政府为最大限度地解决生存资源不足而实施了“天堂计划”，将重病或者年满60岁的人类意识上传，成为“虚拟人”。杨晓和杨蔓是天堂计划的基层执行者，但是一场虚拟人失踪案，俩父女因此被卷入了这场危机之中。。年迈的摇滚明星约翰·奥尔曼（小哈里·康尼克饰）的专辑销量不佳，热门歌曲人气也逐渐下降。于是他决定暂停事业，重拾活力，并搬到了地中海田园诗般的塞浦路斯岛上一座孤立在悬崖边的房屋中。然而，他追求低调生活的愿望却被频繁的访客打乱。后来，当一段旧情重新燃起时，他又面临着更加复杂的意外。。It's Halloween 1965 in Hollywood and is also the last day that a drive in which the hang out of some youths who call themselves the Hollywood Knights will be open.
