影片讲述了一对警察兄弟，弟弟健诚（黄宗泽饰）为卧底，哥哥健忠（谢天华饰）为缉毒警，兄弟俩互在警方和贩毒集团的黑名单上，随着一场押送毒贩的任务，二人卷入其中，展开了一场无间反转的缉毒故事。。该剧从邝南海小时候讲起，聪明机灵、敢作敢为的他将贪官南海知府捉弄得团团转，使30万两赈灾银子如数到了灾民手里。其后他接触了西方科学与民主文化，思想飞跃，先是鼓励姐姐素蓉放弃包办婚姻，又让婢女跟自己一起去上学，甚至冲破世俗观念，爱上一个比自己年纪大的女子陶桃……。A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。
