叶朗（陈豪 饰）是时尚杂志《MODES》的总编，可是，又有谁会知道，这本在业内如同标杆一般存在的杂志，竟然也有过被迫停刊的遭遇。一场意外让叶朗注意到了名为张逸宁（蔡思贝 饰）的小小助理，来到编辑部，张逸宁才发现，这里和自己所想大相径庭，人人心怀鬼胎，明争暗斗从未停止。
