在今天的电击20年祭相关活动中，正式宣布「萝球社」TV动画2期制作确定！ 而此次二期的标题确定为「萝球社！SS」 标题中的SS意为SecondSeason，也可理解为小学生は最高だぜ！。故事发生在公元前二千三百年左右，三皇五帝之一的舜帝降生于世，生于姚墟。舜帝面貌本就异于凡人，两眼是双瞳仁，故而其母为其取名重华。重华的母亲握登常年卧病在床，在诞生下重华后，本就对重华母亲漠不关心的姚父，更是对重华母子越发的冷漠，并一直认为重华是一个不祥的“四瞳怪”……。A down-and-out gangster hires an alcoholic press agent to make his blonde bombshell girlfriend a recording star in 6 weeks.
