二十多岁的穷小子李浩在河边钓鱼时，意外钓到一只体型庞大的大鳄龟。本想将其卖掉换钱为奶奶治病，但奶奶和村里老人张伯都劝他放生，认为此龟不凡。在纠结中，李浩做了一个奇异的梦，梦中一位龟样老人承诺，若他放生大鳄龟，便赐予他财宝。。It follows Angelo, a ten year old who dreams of becoming an explorer and a zoologist. When he goes to visit his granny, his parents leave him behind at a rest stop, and he decides to cut through the forest in search of them.。
