大陆、台湾、香港有一群在异乡的老兵，日夜思念着自己的亲人和故乡，与此同时，老兵的家人们也受着同样的煎熬。特别是身处台湾的老兵，他们不但遭遇着不公平的对待，还受到台湾政局的威胁和恐吓，他们没有一退再退，而是勇敢面对、勇于抗争。在这同时，台湾警总的行动也越来越多，形势也越来越危急，老兵们万众一心，不被警总的淫威所胁迫，相反，这更加坚定了老兵归乡的信念。经过老兵的努力，社会开始关注他们，百姓们也奔走相告，这些“绝对服从，忠党爱国”的老兵们终于打破了精神上枷锁，大胆发出了自己的呼声。功夫不负有心人，在他们多年的不懈奋斗之下，老兵们也终于圆了自己的“回家”梦。。Odd little Western that gets off to a snappy start when a man (Matt Dow) is mistaken as a train robber.
