江城船务运输公司董事长叶震寰在郊外遇袭，被陌生男子江一天救回了家。
江一天与叶家的缘分似乎还不止于此，随后，他就在戏院邂逅了叶震寰的独生女儿叶迦迦，不久，两人又在叶家的舞会上相遇并翩然起舞。作为救命恩人，江一天被叶震寰邀请到叶家长住，继而进入叶氏船务运输公司工作。一段时间后，江一天与叶迦迦坠入爱河。一切似乎都在朝着美好的方向顺利进展……。Set in 1978, the film marks the fourth joint effort between Monzón and Jorge Guerricaechevarría, and tells the action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled story of 17-year-old Nacho Cañas, an introverted student who lives in Girona and who is something of a misfit.
