阿杰是一个杰出的督察，事业得意的他因为冷落了妻子，不久后他发现自己与妻子之间有了第三者，妻子执意要离婚。而警花Moon是个大大咧咧的女孩子，却遭到了男友的嫌弃。这时，两个同样失意的人走到了一起，互相倾诉下发生了感情，可是两人因职位身份的关系，始终没有进一步发展。
与阿杰同属西区警局的还有阿雄，独自抚养着年纪小小的女儿琪琪；尽忠职守的军装警察sam，暗恋着另一名女警；即将退休的张叔，多年来奔波与照顾植物人的妻子；身为谈判专家阿基与女友Creamy缺乏沟通，两人的分歧逐渐变大。
